titleOfInvention | Dye dispersion |
abstract | PURPOSE: To obtain a dye dispersion excellent in high-temp. dispersibility, staining resistance and resistance to reductive fading by using a condensate obtained by reacting a specified dihydroxydiphenyl compound with a sulfite and an aldehyde as a dispersant. n CONSTITUTION: A dye dispersion is obtained by using as a dispersant a condensate obtained by reacting at least one compound of formula I [wherein X is a group of formula II, III, IV or V or O (wherein (n) is 1-5; R 1 and R 3 are each H or alkyl; R 2 is alkyl; and R 4 is alkenyl)] [e.g. 2,2-bis(4-hydroxyphenyl) propane] with a sulfite (e.g. Na 2 SO 3 ) and an aldehyde (e.g. HCHO) optionally in the presence of an alkali (e.g. NaOH) in any desired order. This dispersion exhibits excellent dispersibility even at high dyeing temperatures, does not cause obstacles such as tarring and dyeing specks, scarcely stains polyester fiber or cotton, exhibits an excellent effect even in light-color dyeing, and causes less reductive fading of the dye itself. n COPYRIGHT: (C)1991,JPO&Japio |
