abstract PURPOSE: To obtain a resin composition excellent in impact resistance, water resistance, tensile strength, etc., by melt-kneading a thermoplastic polyamide or aromatic polyester with a specified ethylene graft polymer and a specified ethylene polymer in a specified ratio. n CONSTITUTION: The title resin composition is prepared by melt-kneading 5-95wt.% thermoplastic polyamide or aromatic polyester (e.g. nylon-6) with a macromonomer of a number-average mol.wt. of 2000-20000 derived by introducing a (meth)acryloyl group into one end of a polymer comprising monomer units each having a tert. alkyl ester group (e.g. a macromonomer derived by reacting a glycidyl methacrylate with a t-butyl methacrylate polymer), 0.1-10wt.% ethylenic graft polymer prepared by radical-polymerizing ethylene with another radical-polymerizable monomer as an optional component under high pressure and 95-5wt.% ethylenic polymer other than the above graft polymer (e.g. PE). n COPYRIGHT: (C)1991,JPO&Japio
