abstract | PURPOSE: To prepare the composition capable of forming a uniform and continuous metallic platinum thin film on a substrate with high adhesion by mixing a specified organoplatinum complex and an org. solvent. n CONSTITUTION: This composition for forming a platinum thin film is prepared from an org. solvent and an organoplatinum complex shown by the general formula Pt(R 1 -C≡CR 2 ) 2 (R 1 and R 2 are phenyl, 4-methylphenyl or 4- methoxyphenyl groups, and R 1 and R 2 are the same or different from each other). Bis[diphenylacetylene]platinum, etc., are used as the complex, methyl ethyl ketone, ethyl acetate, dioxane, etc., are used as the org. solvent, and about 0.1-100 pts.wt. of the solvent is used with one pts.wt. of the complex. The composition is heated at about 400-900°C for about 5 to 60min, and a good metallic platinum thin film is formed on the substrate. n COPYRIGHT: (C)1991,JPO&Japio |
