abstract | PURPOSE: To make improvement in gradation characteristic, sensitivity and graininess by incorporating at least two kinds of emulsions varying in average grain size into any one layer of emulsion layers at the time of providing the plural emulsion layers which are the same in color sensitivity but are different in insensitivity. n CONSTITUTION: At least two kinds of the silver halide emulsions which are different in average grain size are incorporated into at least any one layer of the emusion layers of units consisting of the plural emusion layers having the substantially same color sensitivity and different sensitivities of the silver halide color photographic sensitive material having the above-mentioned units on a base. The average silver iodide content of the emulsions having large average grain sizes is specified to ≥9mol% and the average silver iodide content of the emulsions having small average grain sizes is specified to <9mol%. The grain size refers to the diameter obtd. when the projected image of the particle is converted to the circular image of the same area.
