abstract | PURPOSE: To obtain a herbicidal composition for paddy field, comprising an acetanilide-based compound, a pyrazole-based compound and 2-[[[(4,6- dimethoxypyrimidin-2-yl)amino]carbonylamino]sulfonylmethyl]benzoic acid methyl ester. n CONSTITUTION: This berbicidal composition for paddy field comprises 1 pt.wt. of a compound of formula I (R is butoxymethyl or propoxyethyl), 1-10 pts.wt. of a compound of formula II (X is 4-toluenesulfonyl or phenacyl) and 0.05-0.2 pt.wt. 2-[[[(4,6-dimethoxypyrimidin-2-yl)-amino]- carbonylamino]sulfonylmethyl]benzoic acid methyl ester. The composition controls perennial weeds by only single scattering and has long residual activity and high safeness to paddy rice and extremely low toxicity to human and beast. The composition can be applied to soil of paddy field before transplantation of rice seedlings or water level of paddy field in watering state or water level after the transplantation. n COPYRIGHT: (C)1991,JPO |
