abstract PURPOSE: To obtain a high-sensitive diagnostic having high reliability by culturing a specific hybridoma. n CONSTITUTION: A serum, etc., of leprous patient is extracted to afford a phenolic glucolipid (A) of Hansen's Bacillus containing three glucose units expressed by the formula. A mouse, etc., is immunized with an immunogen (B) obtained by binding methylated albumin to the ingredient A to afford an antibody producing cell (C) of spleen cell, etc., which is then fused with a mouse myeloma cell (D) to provide a hybridoma (E). Then the ingredient E is cloned to give hybridoma SF-1 (F) and then the ingredient F is injected into an abdominal cavity and the resultant mouse serum and ascites are fractionated with ammonium sulfate and subjected to dialyzing purification to produce anti-Hansen's bacillus monoclonal antibody SF-1. n COPYRIGHT: (C)1991,JPO&Japio
