abstract PURPOSE: To obtain a novelty which expands in the axial direction and keeps the shape and is activated when being watered by supporting a capsule formed from a material which expands when being watered, so that it is not excessively bent. n CONSTITUTION: A base part 11 has an erecting center axis 13, and an aperture 16 piercing a support rod 22 along the center axis 13 is provided, and a transverse-direction movement suppression part 15 is connected. A sleeve 25 slidably fitted into the aperture 16 of the suppression part 15, a support rod 27 which is freely inserted to the sleeve, and capsules 21 and 31 are provided. Capsules 21 and 31 are fixed to the base part 11 and the suppression part 15 respectively. The sleeve 25 is attached to the upper end of the capsule 21 and the lower end of the capsule 31, and capsules are pierced by rods 22 and 27 respectively. The capsule 31 is made of a material which expands when being watered. The capsule 31 is supported in the suppression part 15 by freely expansible engagement between rods 22 and 27 and the sleeve 25 so that it is not excessively bent, and the capsule is expanded in the axial direction and keeps the shape and is activated when being watered. n COPYRIGHT: (C)1991,JPO
