titleOfInvention | Production of rigid polyurethane foam |
abstract | PURPOSE:To obtain the title product reducing viscosity of blended solution even by decrease of an amount of blowing agent of a chlorofluorocarbon used, by using a polyethylene glycol as a part of polyhydroxy compound. CONSTITUTION:5-60 pts.wt., preferably 10-50 pts.wt. polyethylene glycol having 150-500 molecular weight based on 100 pts.wt. whole polyhydroxy compound is used as a polyhydroxy compound and the polyhydroxy compound is reacted with a polyisocyanate compound (e.g. tolyene diisocyanate) in the presence of a catalyst (e.g. triethylene diamine), a blowing agent and a foam stabilizer (e.g. organopolysiloxane) to give the objective product. When the amount of a chlorofluorocarbon as a blowing agent is lessened and water is used as the substitute, the amount of water used is preferably 2-8 pts.wt. based on 100 pts.wt. whole polyhydroxy compound. |
