titleOfInvention Solid painting material
abstract PURPOSE: To obtain the subject solid painting material of Indian ink, a water color, etc., convenient to handle by tabletting a powdery mixture composed of a powder prepared by drying and pulverizing a pigment dispersion, a powder of a water-soluble carbonate, etc., and a powder an aqueous solution of which is acidic. n CONSTITUTION: An objective painting material obtained by tabletting a powdery mixture composed of (A) a powder (e.g. powder obtained by dispersing pigment such as ocher, dispersant such as oleate and water and subsequently drying and pulverizing resultant dispersion) prepared by drying and pulverizing a pigment dispersion, (B) a water-soluble carbonate (e.g. sodium carbonate) and/or bicarbonate (e.g. sodium bicarbonate), (C) a powder (e.g. citric acid) an aqueous solution of which is acidic and other powders as necessary. In addition, as the amount of the components used, the components (B) and (C) are preferably 0.1-10.0 pts.wt. and 0.8-10.0 pts.wt. respectively based on 100 pts. wt. pigment. n COPYRIGHT: (C)1991,JPO&Japio
