abstract |
PURPOSE:To prevent deterioration of heat resistant cycle properties and deterioration of coating operability and adhesion of a film by heating and pressure- molding the thermosetting sheet molding compound having heat resistance in a forming mold and thereafter introducing the specified coating composition into the mold, heating and pressurizing them. CONSTITUTION:The thermosetting sheet molding compound having heat resistance is heated and pressure-molded in a forming mold for the automobile parts. Then the coating compound is obtained by preparing polyepoxide- polyacrylate as the reaction product of both mixed polyepoxide consisting of (95:5-5:95) (weight ratio) of phenol novolak type polyepoxide and bisphenol A type polyepoxide and acrylic acid on methacrylic acid and blending a vehicle component contg. a polymerizable unsaturated monomer as a main component and scaly pigment therewith. This coating compound is introduced into the mold, heated and pressurized together with the molded form. Thereby a film can be formed which has metallic appearance on the surface of the molded form. |
