titleOfInvention Method and device for electro-chemical immunoassay
abstract PURPOSE: To enable application to a blood or serum sample by hydrolyzing 1-naphthyl phosphate with alkaline phosphate, and detecting an electro-chemical oxidization electric potential using a specified electrode. n CONSTITUTION: 1-naphthyl phosphate is hydrolyzed with alkaline phosphatase to generate 1-naphthol, and then while carrying white gold group metal, an electro-chemical oxidization electric potential of 1-naphthol is detected by using an electrode of carbon particles having particles size of 3-50nm. Thus, with the use of 1-naphthyl phosphate conbined with a specific electrode, high sensitivity is obtained, and since the oxidization reduction electric potential of the 1-naphthyl phosphate is lower than that of electric potential interfering compound which can be present in a blood or serum sample, usage for a blood or serum sample is permitted. Relating to an electrode, it is desirable that a particle is combined with fluorocarbon resin, especially polytetrafluoroethylene. n COPYRIGHT: (C)1991,JPO
