titleOfInvention Optical material
abstract PURPOSE: To obtain excellent crystallinity and to obtain large optical nonlinearity by incorporating specific org. molecules into the optical material consisting of the org. molecules of at least two components. n CONSTITUTION: This optical material consists of the mixed crystals of the org. molecules of at least two components contg. The 3, 9-dinitro-5a, 6, 11a, 12-tetrahydro{1, 4]benzoxadino[3, 3-b][1.4]benzoxazine as one component. The mixed crystals refer to the single crystal in which at least the two components are both crystallized. DNBB molecules are required to be incorporated as one component therein. The optical nonlinearity to allow the practicalbe use of this optical material and the excellent crystallinity to allow the production of the large-sized single crystal are obtd. in this way. n COPYRIGHT: (C)1991,JPO&Japio
