abstract PURPOSE: To obtain dried pet food or feed capable of preserving for a long period of time and exhibiting an excellent biting by drying dough prepared from mid-gut gland of cephalopod with a microwave dielectric heating. n CONSTITUTION: Mid-gut gland of cephalopod such as a cuttlefish or an octopus and gill, ovarium, skin or other secondary product, as desired, is mashed and added and dispersed into various raw materials such as fish meat, animal meat or others, then free water is almost removed to obtain dough adjusted to a quasi-combined water region.
