titleOfInvention | Immuno enzymometric assay using biological probe |
abstract | PURPOSE: To easily use a composition for bioassay by reducing the cost and time of the composition by adding a complex prepared by using a material selected from among streptoavidin, avidin, and their semisynthetic derivative and biotinylized marker. CONSTITUTION: A bioassay composition contains a complex prepared by using 1g of high-purity natural avidin, a material selected from among streptoavidin, avidin, and their semisynthetic derivative, and a biotinylized marker carried on a water-dispersive solid carrier. The ratio of the amount of the complex to that of the solid carrier is adjusted to 1μg/20mg. The marker means the enzyme which is generally used as a detector in bioassay, such as enzyme peroxide, alkaline phosphotase, β-galactosidase, glucosidase, etc., or one of the other nonprotein materials, such as fluorescein, rhodamine, etc., which generates such a signal as the fluorescence, etc. Such a marker is covalently coupled with biotin at a mole ratio (biotin:enzyme) of >1. |
