titleOfInvention Panel material and manufacture thereof
abstract PURPOSE: To maintain the desired function of the panel material concerned over a long period of time and prevent the beauty from being injured by a method wherein an asbestos surface sheet, the outer surface of which is subjected to heat resisting treatment, a surface sheet, which is arranged so as to make a gap between the asbestos surface sheet and itself, and foamed resin, which is filled in the space made between the asbestos surface sheet and the surface sheet and expanded integrally with both the surface sheets. n CONSTITUTION: An asbestos surface sheet 1 and another surface sheet 3 are arranged so as to make a gap between them. The sides of the asbestos surface sheet 1 and of the surface sheet 3 are connected with each other by a pair of side sheets 5 and 7. Heat resisting treatment is carried out on the outer surface of the asbestos surface sheet 1. Further, the surface sheet 3 is made of steel sheet. Urethane foaming resin 11 is filled in the space made by the asbestos surface sheet 1, the surface sheet 3 and a pair of the side sheets 5 and 7 so as to be expanded integrally with the asbestos surface sheet 1, the surface sheet 3 and a pair of the side sheets 5 and 7. Accordingly, so-called bimetal phenomena of the separation of the steel sheet from the asbestos sheet and the generation of wrinkle, swelling and unevenness in the steel sheet do not occur. Furthermore, the trouble on the adhesive, which joins the steel sheet and asbestos with each other, is also settled. n COPYRIGHT: (C)1991,JPO&Japio
