titleOfInvention Material for inhibiting microorganism adsorbing ozone and method for inhibiting microorganism
abstract PURPOSE: To obtain the subject material, containing a base composed of a gas adsorbent and ozone, adsorbed and held in the aforementioned base, capable of slowly or quickly releasing the ozone as desired and enabling obtaining of required germicidal, disinfectant and microbial inhibitory effects. n CONSTITUTION: A composition containing a chemical composed of at least one gas adsorbent (e.g. activated alumina, zeolite or silica gel) and a microbial inhibitor selected from ozone and active oxygen-containing ozone decomposition products, adsorbed and held in the above-mentioned base. The aforementioned material, together with a material to be packaged (e.g. a food, precise apparatus and parts thereof), is hermetically sealed and packaged with a packaging material substantially without permeating gases to inhibit microorganisms for a long period. n COPYRIGHT: (C)1991,JPO&Japio
