titleOfInvention Filler for analyzing butyl phosphate and manufacture thereof
abstract PURPOSE: To make it possible to separate tributyl phosphate and dibutyl phosphate contained in butyl phosphate by eliminating the entire exposed surface of porous polymer beads which are exposed from a coating agent by heat treatment. n CONSTITUTION: Polyethylene glycol which is to become a coating agent is dissolved into methanol so that adequate concentration for forming a filler is obtained. Porous polymer beads are added to the solution so as to obtained fixed-phase carrier. After the gas exhaust, the solution is discharged. The material is dried and filled into a glass column. Then, the column is heated to about 200-300°C for about 24 hours, and the material is aged. The small holes in the exposed surfaces of the porous polymer beads generated in the coating- agent applying process are selectively removed. The column obtained in this way is maintained at a specified temperature. Nitrogen as a carried gas is supplied, and gas chromatography is functioned. The solution is added to n-hexane of tributyl phosphate and dibutyl phosphate. Thus, the tributyl and dibutyl contained in the butyl phosphate can be separated as the single peak. n COPYRIGHT: (C)1991,JPO&Japio
