titleOfInvention | Reactive dye and benzyl compound as intermediate thereof |
abstract | NEW MATERIAL: A compd. represented by formula I [U represents vinyl, propenyl or the like; when X represents a chromophore group derived from a monoazo dye, anthraquinone or the like, L represents a crosslinked member represented by formula II or III (Q 1 to Q 3 represent H or a 1-4C alkyl and Q 4 represents a leaving group), or when X represents a coupling component, L represents an azo bridge and, in this case, group X-L is bonded to the benzene ring at the m- or p-position relative to group CH 2 -SO 3 H. n EXAMPLE: A compd. represented by formula IV. n USE: A reactive dye. The compd. is suitable for a cold pad batch dyeing method, and has percentage high dyeing, provides high stability in binding between fiber and dye and permits a component not fixed to the fiber to be easily washed away. n PROCESS: E.g. an org. dye or a dye precursor is reacted with a fiber active compd. represented by formula V (A 1 represents formula II or III). When a dye precursor is used, the resultant intermediate compd. is converted to a dye. n COPYRIGHT: (C)1991,JPO |
