titleOfInvention Naphthylsulfonylalkylcarboxylic acid derivative
abstract NEW MATERIAL:A naphthylsulfonylalkylcarboxylic acid derivative expressed by formula I [R 1 is 1-10C alkyl; R 2 is 2-5C acyloxy, formula II or formula III ((n) and (p) are 2-5; X is O or methylene); R 3 is H, alkyl or benzyl; (m) is 1, 2 or 3]. n EXAMPLE: Benzyl 4-[N-(2-acetoxyethyl)-N-pentylcarbamoyl]-5-(2-naphthylsulfonyl) pentanoate. n USE: Preventive and therapeutic agent for disease such as irritable colitis, biliary dyskinesia or acute pancreatitis. The derivative expressed by formula I has strong cholecystokinin(CCK) receptor antagonistic action. n PREPARATION: A naphthylthioalkylcarboxylic acid derivative expressed by formula II (R 4 is 1-4C alkyl or benzyl) is oxidized with a proper oxidizing agent and, as necessary, hydrolyzed or hydrogenated to provide the compound expressed by formula I. n COPYRIGHT: (C)1991,JPO&Japio
