PURPOSE: To provide the subject cosmetic having excellent applicability and feeling and containing cosmetic powder and an oil compounded with a specific silicone gel composition at a high concentration. n CONSTITUTION: The objective cosmetic contains (A) 70-95wt.% of cosmetic powder and (B) 5-30wt.% (preferably 20-30wt.%) of an oil containing 50-100wt.% (preferably 60-90wt.%) of a silicone gel composition produced by mixing (B 1 ) a partially crosslinked organopolysiloxane polymer, e.g. an organopolysiloxane polymer insoluble in benzene and partially containing a three-dimensional crosslinked structure capable of holding ≥1 pts.wt. (based on 1 pt.wt. of the polymer) of benzene and (B 2 ) a low viscosity silicone oil preferably having a viscosity of ≤50cs at a weight ratio (B 1 :B 2 ) of (5:95) to (50:50), preferably (10:90) to (40:60). The cosmetic can be easily transferred to a cosmetic brush and is resistant to caking, free from stickiness and oiliness, easily spreadable and uniformly applicable to the skin. n COPYRIGHT: (C)1991,JPO&Japio |
