abstract PURPOSE: To dispense an aqueous aseptic fluid in a sterile condition by passing the aqueous aseptic fluid from a reservoir to an outlet through a porous filter to which an antiseptically effective amount of an organic silicon quaternary ammonium compound is covalent-bonded. n CONSTITUTION: A porous filter 18, to which an antimicrobibially effective amount of an organic silicon quaternary ammonium compound represented by formula I is covalent-bonded, is provided within a portable container 10. A predetermined amount of an aqueous aseptic fluid is stored in the reservoir 12 in the container 10 and the aqueous aseptic fluid is passed through ht porous filter 18 and allowed to flow out of an outlet 19. In formula I, Y represents R or RO (R is a 1-4C alkyl group, H), (a) represents 1 or 2, R' represents a methyl or an ethyl group, R" represents a 1-4C alkylene group, R''', R"" and RV represent respectively a 1-18C alkyl group or the like. n COPYRIGHT: (C)1991,JPO
