titleOfInvention | Crystal transformation of 3-dibutylamino-6-methyl-7-anilinofluoran |
abstract | PURPOSE: To easily obtain the title low-melting anilinofluoran by dissolving a high-melting dibutylaminomethylanilinofluoran crystal in an organic solvent consisting mainly of carbon tetrachloride followed by cooling to effect recrystallization. n CONSTITUTION: 3-Dibutylamino-6-methyl-7-anilinofluoran crystal with a high- melting point of 179-186°C, characterized by the X-ray diffraction pattern having peaks at diffraction angles 6.9°, 11.0°, 18.5° and 18.9° determined by the X-ray diffraction method using Cu-Kα beams is dissolved in an organic solvent consisting mainly of carbon tetrachloride followed by cooling to effect recrystallization, thus obtaining the objective low-melting 3-dibutylamino-6- methyl-7-anilinofluoran with a melting point of 148-152°C, characterized by the X-ray diffraction pattern having peaks at diffraction angles 6.9°, 11.6°, 12.0°, 17.8°, 21.1° and 21.5°. n COPYRIGHT: (C)1991,JPO&Japio |
