abstract PURPOSE: To use an IC socket in common by using the two-board structure consisting of a common board where only the IC sockets are mounted and a dedicated substrate where wiring for a load resistance, a power source, GND, an input signal is provided. n CONSTITUTION: Only the IC sockets 2 are mounted on the common board 12 and shared by ICs in the same shape. The terminals of the respective sockets 2 are connected from this board 12 to the dedicated board 13 below the common board through respective connection connectors 14. On the board 13, the necessary power source, GND, mounted components 3, and input signal are wired from lines connected from the respective sockets 2 through an aluminum pattern and led out to a substrate connector 15 on the board 13, and they are connected to the burn-in board 11 through the connector. On the board 12, only the sockets 2 are mounted and no special component is mounted, so the board 13 where only the sockets 2 are mounted through the connectors 14 is replaced for adaption to another kind.
