titleOfInvention | Molded article of liquid crystal polymer |
abstract | PURPOSE: To improve the adhesive properties by forming at least a part of the surface layer of a molded article of a liq. crystal polymer out of a polyester capable of forming an anisotropic melt and bringing the wet surface tension into a specified range. n CONSTITUTION: At least a part of the surface layer of a molded article of a liq. crystal polymer is formed out of a polyester which can form an anisotropic melt and comprises 30-74mol% p-hydroxybenzoic acid, 35-13mol% terephthalic acid, and 35-13mol% ethylene glycol. Then the article is subjected to corona discharge treatment at an energy level of 100W.min/m 2 or higher at about room temp. in the air or oxygen to give the title article having a wet surface tension of 50 dyne/cm or higher. n COPYRIGHT: (C)1991,JPO&Japio |
