titleOfInvention | Rubber chip mat and manufacture thereof |
abstract | PURPOSE: To keep the air permeability of resin or accordingly the shock-proofing performance of a rubber chip mat excellent by a method wherein a multitude of rubber chips covered with an air nonpermeable resin film having elasticity is bonded with each other by a resin having air permeability so as to retain air gaps between each other. n CONSTITUTION: In a rubber chip mat 10, a multitude of rubber chips 14, covered with a film 12 consisting of air nonpermeable resin having an elasticity such as acrylic resin or vinyl chloride resin, is bonded with each other by a resin 18 having air permeability such as urethane resin or vinyl acetate resin with air gaps 16 between each other. The resin film 12, covering the rubber chips 14, is provided with an elasticity and air gaps 18 exist around the resin film whereby the deformation of the rubber chips 14 at the applying point of a load and the vicinity thereof is guaranteed when a shock load is applied on the rubber chip mat 10 while the shock may be absorbed efficiently by the elastic deformation of the rubber chips 14 and the elastic deformation of the resin 18 as an adhesive agent having air permeability. n COPYRIGHT: (C)1991,JPO&Japio |
