titleOfInvention | Nonwoven fabric for hair drier |
abstract | PURPOSE: To obtain the subject nonwoven fabric excellent in durability of hydrophilic nature and free from occurrence of stain thereof due to heat deterioration by coating a heat-resistant nonwoven fabric composed of a specified fineness and fiber length with a specified epoxy resin. n CONSTITUTION: Onto a nonwoven fabric composed of a heat-resistant fiber (e.g. wholly aromatic polyamide fiber) having 0.5-6d single yarn fineness and 30-100mm fiber length and having 0.1-0.3g/cm 3 density, an epoxy compound, e.g. a polyglycidyl ether of polyethylene glycol or polypropylene glycol a film- shaped material of which has 5-30° contact angle between water is deposited in an amount of 0.5-50wt.% based on the fiber by the dipping method, etc., and the resultant nonwoven fabric is heat treated, thus obtaining the objective nonwoven fabric for a hair drier excellent in durability of its hydrophilic nature and free from occurrence of stain thereof due to heat deterioration when used at high temperatures. n COPYRIGHT: (C)1991,JPO&Japio |
