NEW MATERIAL: A compound of formula I [R 1 means a 1-6C alkyl, a 3-6C alkenyl, a 7-9C phenylalkyl, etc.; A means formula II or formula III (R 3 means H, a 1-8C alkyl, etc.; R 4 means a 2-12C alkylene, cyclohexylene, etc.; R 5 means H, a 1-8C alkyl, a 1-8C acyl, etc.; (p) and (r) are each an integer of 2-6; and (q) is 0 or 1), etc.; and R 2 means OH, ONa, OK, a 1-8C alkoxy, formula IV, etc.]. n USE: Useful as light stabilizers, heat stabilizers and oxidation stabilizers for organic materials, in particular, for synthetic polymers. n PROCESS: Compounds of formula I are obtained by the reaction of chlorocyanuric acid with compounds of formula V or VI.
