NEW MATERIAL: A compound of formula I (A means CO, CS or SO 2 ; (n) is an integer of 0 or 1; R 1 means alkyl, alkenyl, alkynyl, cycloalkyl or cycloalkenyl; R 2 means H, alkyl, alkenyl, alkynyl, cycloalkyl, aryl, etc.; R 3 means alkyl, alkenyl, aryl, heterocyclyl, etc.; R 4 means H, alkyl, aryl, aryloxy, etc.; and R 3 and R 4 are taken together to form a saturated or unsaturated 4- to 9-membered heterocyclic ring together with N and an appropriate group A). n EXAMPLE: (E)-2-cyano-2-methoxyimino-N-(phthalimidomethyl)-acetamide. n USE: Useful as germicides or fungicides. n PROCESS: For example, by reacting 2-cyano-2-oxyiminocarbonyl compound of formula II (Z means Cl, OCH 3 or OC 2 H 5 ) with an amino compound of formula III (HY represents an inorganic or organic acid), a compound of formula I can be obtained. n COPYRIGHT: (C)1991,JPO |
