titleOfInvention Production of aromatic polyester
abstract PURPOSE: To obtain the subject polymer having excellent heat-resistance and moldability and low-shrinkage and anisotropy by adding a polyvalent amine compound to an aromatic hydroxycarboxylic acid, a dicarboxylic acid and a diphenol and polymerizing the components. n CONSTITUTION: The objective polymer is produced by mixing (A) an aromatic hydroxycarboxylic acid such as p-hydroxybenzoic acid with (B) an aromatic dicarboxylic acid such as terephtalic acid and (C) an aromatic diphenol such as resorcinol, adding preferably 0.3-5mol% of (D) a polyamine compound having ≥3 amino groups (e.g. 3,4,4'-triaminodiphenyl ether) and reacting the components with each other. n COPYRIGHT: (C)1991,JPO&Japio
