titleOfInvention | Synthetic fiber |
abstract | PURPOSE: To obtain a synthetic fiber having improved adhesivity to general-purpose resins such as polyurethane resin by using a treating agent composed of an aliphatic polyepoxy compound and a polyallylamine and attaching the agent to a synthetic fiber such as polyester fiber. n CONSTITUTION: The objective reinforcing fiber having improved adhesivity to general-purpose resins such as polyurethane resin or halogen-containing vinyl resin and giving a resin-composite material having excellent peeling strength is produced by using a treating agent composed of (A) 5-90wt.% of an aliphatic polyepoxy compound having ≥2 epoxy groups in the molecule, (e.g. a polyglycidyl ether of ethylene glycol) and (B) 95-10wt.% of a polyallylamine having the principal principal skeleton expressed by formula and applying the treating agent to a synthetic fiber (polyester fiber or aromatic polyamide fiber). The application of the agent is carried out e.g. by applying preferably the component A to the fiber, heat-treating the product and applying the second component B to the fiber. n COPYRIGHT: (C)1991,JPO&Japio |
