titleOfInvention Method of labeling protein or polypeptide with technetium-99m, produced complexe, use for imaging processing and re-preparation kit for the complexe
abstract PURPOSE: To advantageously and industrially obtain the subject compound useful for a medical imaging processing agent, etc., by introducing a thiol group into a protein or a polypeptide with a reagent capable of introducing SH groups without disulfide crosslinking reduction. n CONSTITUTION: A protein or polypeptide is labeled with technetium-99m by dissolving the protein (e.g. bovine albumin, etc.) in a phosphate buffer, etc., introducing a thiol group into the protein or polypeptide by adding and reacting a reagent (e.g. 4-mercaptobutylimidate, etc.), capable of introducing thiol groups directly without reduction steps of disulfide crosslinkage of the protein or polypeptide. Then the modified protein or polypeptide is labeled with technetium-99m by adding technetium-99m glucopeptonate prepared by reacting sodium glucopeptonate with 99m TcO 4 to protein or the polypeptide. n COPYRIGHT: (C)1991,JPO
