titleOfInvention | Human plasmic fibronectin-producing cell line and production process |
abstract | PURPOSE: To enable the mass-production of human plasmic fibronectin free from blood-originated viruses, etc., with an industrially stable process at a low cost by culturing HUH-6 clone 5 cell which is a cell line originated from human hepatoblastoma in a specific serum-free medium and purifying the supernatant of the cultured product. n CONSTITUTION: HUH-6 clone 5 which is a cell line originated from human hepatoblastoma is cultured in a serum-free medium containing insulin as an exclusive proteinous proliferation factor and the culture liquid is purified to produce human plasmic fibronectin. The cell line HUH-6 clone 5 used in the above process is registered in JCRB as the registration No.0401. An eRDF medium containing insulin as the exclusive proteinous proliferation factor can be used as the serum-free medium. The separation of fibronectin from the supernatant of cultured product can be carried out by a combination of conventional gelatin affinity chromatography and salting-out, etc. n COPYRIGHT: (C)1991,JPO&Japio |
