titleOfInvention Highly slidable polyoxymethylene resin material
abstract PURPOSE: To obtain a polyoxymethylene resin material having excellent lubricating properties and abrasion resistance and suited as a material for various sliding parts by melt-kneading a polyoxymethylene resin with an isocyanate compound, an epoxy compound and optionally a tert. amine. n CONSTITUTION: A highly slidable polyoxymethylene resin material is obtained by melt-kneading a composition containing at least 75wt.% polyoxymethylene resin, 0.5-5.0wt.%, desirably 1.0-3.0wt.% isocyanate compound (e.g. hexamethylene diisocyanate), 0.5-15wt.%, desirably 1-8wt.% epoxy compound (e.g. polypropylene glycol diglycidyl ether) and 0-5wt.%, desirably 0.05-3wt.% tert. amine (desirably of 10-40C, e.g. behenyldimethylamine) usually at 180-240°C with an extruder, etc. n COPYRIGHT: (C)1991,JPO&Japio
