abstract PURPOSE: To obtain a silicone primer composition which, when applied to a substrate or between coatings, can improve adhesion and is desirable for e.g. surface modifier for the skins or hair of a person by using a reaction product of a resinous copolymeric siloxane with an organosiloxane. n CONSTITUTION: A resinous copolymeric siloxane (A) having a residual hydroxyl functionality and essentially consisting of R 2 S:D 1/2 units (wherein R is a monovalent hydrocarbon radical) and SiO 4/2 units is mixed with a silane (B) selected among compounds of formulas I and II [wherein X is a 1-3C alkoxyl or the like; R' is a 2-8C divalent hydrocarbon group; R" is a 1-12C alkyl radical or the like; a=1 or 2: and G is formula III (wherein A is a methyl radical) or the like] and used in an amount of 0.1-3 equivalents per equivalent of the hydroxyl groups of component A. n COPYRIGHT: (C)1991,JPO
