NEW MATERIAL:2-(Dimethyloleylammonio)ethylphosphate of formula I (R is oleyl). n USE: The compound can be applied as an emulsifier, solubilizing agent, dispersing agent, etc., to drugs, quasidrugs, cosmetics, pen inks, etc., and has excellent antibacterial property and surface activity. n PREPARATION: Dimethyl(2-hydroxyethyl)oleylammonium halide of formula II (X is Cl, I, Br or F) is dissolved in benzene and gradually mixed with phosphorus oxychloride in an amount of 1-4 times based on the raw material at room temperature. The solvent is distilled out and water is added and stirred at the room temperature for 2-10 hours.
