titleOfInvention Novel o-substitutiohn 1,4-naphthohydroquinone derivative and thermal recording body
abstract PURPOSE: To improve the color forming property and sublimation property at high temperature while sufficiently maintaining the color forming sensitivity, by forming a thermal recording body mainly of a leucocompound and an organic acid and, allowing an O-substitution 1,4-naphthohydroquinone derivative to be included as a color forming accelerator into a recording layer. n CONSTITUTION: This thermal recording body is mainly composed of a leucocompound and an organic acid which develops color through reaction with the leucocompound. An O-substitution 1,4-naphthohydroquinone derivative expressed by a formula (I) is included as a color forming accelerator in a recording layer of the recording body. For the leucocompound, triphenylmethane, triphenylmethane phthalide, fluoran, leucoauramine, diphenylmethane, phenotiadine, phenoxadine, spiropyran, indoline, indigo or the like derivative is used. The organic acid should be such that is dissolved by heat and becomes a color developing agent in contact with the leucocompound, i.e., various kinds of phenolic substance, fatty acid or aromatic carboxylic acid. n COPYRIGHT: (C)1991,JPO&Japio
