titleOfInvention | Process for preparation of n,n'-substituted urea |
abstract | PURPOSE: To obtain the titled compound in a high yield with a high catalyst recovery rate and without separation of catalysts, special after-treatment and activity deterioration, aromatic mono-nitoro compound, aromatic primary amine and carbon monoxide are reacted in the presence of a specific main- and co- catalysit and a solvent. n CONSTITUTION: In the presence of a palladium compound as a main catalyst, and an ammonium salt containing halogen element or a phosphonium salt as a co-catalyst and a solvent (preferably benzene, toluene, xylene), aromatic mono- nitoro compound, aromatic primary amine (for example, aniline) and carbon monoxide are reacted preferably at a temperature of 50-200°C under a pressure of 5-100 atm to obtain the compound of the formula (Ar 1 , Ar 2 are each an unsubstituted aromatic radical; aromatic radical substituted with halogen or others). As the palladium compound PdBr 2 and as the halogen containing ammonium tetraethylammonium chloride is used respectively. n COPYRIGHT: (C)1991,JPO |
