titleOfInvention Aloe water preparation and its production
abstract PURPOSE: To provide an aloe water preparation that is obtained by boiling the pulp from aloe leaves and condensing the boiling vapor and is useful as a skin protecting agent, a restorative agent and for hair-losing prevention. n CONSTITUTION: Leaves of aloe, preferably aloe barbadensis are collected, cut into pieces 40-50cm long, washed, dried and shred with a mil into a uniform pulp. The pulp is fermented preferably for 6-48 hours, particularly for 24 hours, boiled under a reduced pressure (suitably at 10mmHg) and the vapor is condensed to obtain aloe water. The aloe water is formulated together with camphor, copper sulfate, triethanolamine and lactic acid to prepare a hair-treating cosmetic. In another way, the pulp in the solid part of the pulp of the aloe leaves after boiling is formulated to flowers of hibiscus, leaves of guava, lemon juice and citronella essence to prepare a cosmetic for skin treatment. n COPYRIGHT: (C)1991,JPO
