PURPOSE: To obtain a hair-growing composition that contains a hair-absorption and adsorption bulking agent, a vasodilator and a scalp stimulator and stimulates scalp to promote hair growth and enable an attractive hairdressing. n CONSTITUTION: This hair growth composition is prepared by allowing a cosmetically acceptable carrier (for example, a lower alkyl alcohol) to include (A) a hair-absorbing-adsorbing bulking agent, for example, a combination of panthenol, a panthenyl ether, biotin, a biotin ester, a glycoprotein or a mucopolysaccharide as an absorbing component with a carboxy-vinyl polymer or a polyvinyl-pyrrolidinyl polymer as an adsorbing component, (B) a vasodilator, for example, vitamin E, a nicotinate salt, chloral hydrate, quinine, red pepper, a tincture and (C) a scalp stimulator, for example, an antiitching agent which can give both of warm feeling and cool feeling (for example, comphor or menthol). n COPYRIGHT: (C)1991,JPO |
