titleOfInvention Polymer composition for coating photosensitive flexographic plate
abstract PURPOSE: To improve the adhesive strength to a negative film and to form a relief having excellent reproducibility by blending cellulose acetate and a cellulosic polymer exclusive of this cellulose at specific ratios and using the blend. n CONSTITUTION: The polymer compsn. which consists of 5 to 45 wt.% cellulose acetate and 55 to 95 wt.% cellulosic polymer exclusive of this acetate and is soluble in halogen solvents is used as a slip film for photosensitive flexographic plates. The cellulose acetate is usually produced by acetylating cellulose with acetic anhydride and hydrolyzing a part thereof and is preferably soluble in a halogen developing soln. This cellulose acetate may be also made soluble by blending the same with the cellulosic polymer. Thus, the adhesive strength to negative films is improved and the exact reproduction of the plate is possible. n COPYRIGHT: (C)1991,JPO&Japio
