titleOfInvention | Plant growth regulator and method for regulating plant growth |
abstract | PURPOSE: To obtain a plant growth regulator, containing at least one of 1- triacontyl phosphate and salts thereof, having great preservation stability of the resultant formulation without any phytotoxicity to crops and suitable for the crops such as grains, beans and potatoes. n CONSTITUTION: A new plant growth regulator containing at least one of 1- triacontyl phosphate and salts thereof. Growth is regulated by applying the aforementioned plant growth regulator to stem and leaf surfaces or root parts of grain crops during a period from the two-leaf stage to the initial ripening stage, crops of beans during a period from the flowering stage to the initial ripening stage, potatoes during a period from the potato forming stage to the thickening stage or vegetables during a period from the initial growth stage to the middle growth stage or branches, leaf surfaces and/or fruits of fruit trees in the thickening stage of the fruits. Remarkable growth regulating action such as quality improvement and yield increase of the crops is exhibited with great preservation stability of the resultant formulation. n COPYRIGHT: (C)1991,JPO&Japio |
