titleOfInvention Alpha type crystal of deoxyspergualin hydrochloride and production thereof
abstract NEW MATERIAL:To obtain α type crystal of N-[4-(3-aminopropyl) aminobutyl]-2-(7-guanidinoheptanamide)-2-hydroxyethanamide trihydrochloride. n USE: Having excellent carcinostatic effects on various animal grafted cancers, further showing immunosuppressing action and useful as a drug having improved hygroscopicity, thermostability and excellent handleability. n PREPARATION: Powder of deoxyspergualin hydrochloride or hydrous syrup thereof is allowed to stand and/or blended while stirring at low humidity under a mild temperature condition to give the objective substance. The crystal is obtained by allowing to stand the substance at 0-30°C for 5-20 days, usually about 10 days. In the most practical method, a proper amount of preliminarily obtained α type crystal is seeded in hydrous syrup having ≤20% water content, stirred at ≤30% relative humidity, solidified in several hours, allowed to stand in desiccator in the presence of silica gel and crystallized to give the objective substance. n COPYRIGHT: (C)1991,JPO&Japio
