abstract PURPOSE: To obtain thermal recording sheet excellent in thermal response, having high sensitivity, imparting high developed color density and improved in mechanical matching properties by adding a N-methylolbehenylamide in a thermal color forming layer containing a coupler reacting with a dye precursor at the time of heating to form a color as a main constituent element and further adding one or more kind of a sensitivity enhancer. n CONSTITUTION: 3-dibutylamino-t-methyl-7-anilinofluorane as a dye precursor and 4,4-isopropylidene diphenol as a coupler are pref. contained in a thermal color forming layer as constituent elements. The compounding amount of N- methylolbehenylamide is desirably 5-80% by wt. of the coupler and the compounding amount of a sensitivity enhancer added together is desirably 50-200% by wt. of the coupler. As the sensitivity enhancer, one or more kind compound selected from 2-benzyloxynaphthalene, p-benzylbiphenyl, di-p- chlorobenzyl oxalate and di-p-methylbenzyl oxalate is pref. used. n COPYRIGHT: (C)1991,JPO&Japio
