titleOfInvention | Thermal recording material |
abstract | PURPOSE: To improve color-development density, color-development sensitivity and texture whiteness by using specific nitrobenzoic acid as an auxiliary component. n CONSTITUTION: In a thermal recording material utilizing a color development reaction between a leuco dye and a developer thereof, a nitrobenzoic acid group compound shown in formula 1 is used as an auxiliary component. In formula I, A represents formula II, formula III or NH(CH 2 ) n OH and (n) an integer of 1-3. The nitrobenzoic acid group compound has high capacity dissolving the developer (an electron acceptable compound) and the leuco dye (an electron- donating colorless dye) employed within a wide range on heating, and the melting point of the nitrobenzoic acid group compound used is adjusted, thus manufacturing the thermal recording material having sufficient color-development density, color-development sensitivity and texture color-development on the basis of the method. n COPYRIGHT: (C)1991,JPO&Japio |
