titleOfInvention Packing material for liquid chromatography
abstract PURPOSE: To obtain the packing material by using (S)- or (R)-1, 1'-biantory 1-2, 2'-dicarboxylic acid as a stationary phase. n CONSTITUTION: The packing material for liquid chromatography is formed by using the (S)- or (R)-1, 1'-biantory1-2, 2'- dicarboxylic acid as the stationary phase. A porous carrier consisting of a silica gel, glass beads, diatoma ceous earth or the like is used as the substrates of the packing material and is more preferably spherical in the case of use of an optically active material as the stationary phase. The stationary phase of the optically active compd. is extremely effective for division of dl-alcohols which are extremely difficult to be divided. The synthesis thereof is easy and the excellent packing material is obtd. n COPYRIGHT: (C)1991,JPO&Japio
