titleOfInvention Pp4-delta, its preparation and use
abstract NEW MATERIAL: A protein PP4-δ wherein the amino acids are deleted in the C-terminal, having higher activity than PP4 in thromboplastin-inhibition tests. n USE: Anticoagulants and antiinflammatory agents. n PROCESS: A single-stranded DNA is separated at a F1 bacteria phage from a microorganism containing a plasmid pMc5.8.PP4-NcoI containing a gene encoding for a protein PP4. The DNA is bound to a fragment which has been obtained by digestion of a vector pMa.5.8 for as a mutation inducer. After completion of mutation induction, an ampicillin-resistant colony is infected with a F1 bacteriophage to separate a single-stranded DNA. The DNA is treated with a restriction enzyme to introduce into an expression system. Then, a host is transformed by the vector and cultivated to give a protein PP4-δ. n COPYRIGHT: (C)1991,JPO
