titleOfInvention Lipid a monosaccharide analog
abstract NEW MATERIAL:A lipid A monosaccharide analog expressed by formula I (R 1 is H or OH; l is integer of 8-14; m is integer of 11-17; n is integer of 8-14). n EXAMPLE: 1,5-Anhydro-2-deoxy-2-[(3R)-3-hydroxytetradecanamide]-4-O- phosphono-3-O-[(3RS)-3-undecylheptadecanoyl]-D-glucitol. n USE: An immunoactivating agent and antitumor agent. n PREPARATION: For example, a compound expressed by formula II (R' 1 is H or trimethylsilylethoxy) derived from D-glucosamine, etc., is reacted with a fatty acid replaced with [2-(trimethylsilyl)-ethoxymethoxy] group and then protecting groups other than protecting group at the 3-position are removed and then OH group at the 3-position and OH group at the 6-position are successively protected and OH group at the 5-position is phospholylated and then protecting at 6-position is removed and further, the resultant compound is hydrogenated to provide the compound expressed by formula I. n COPYRIGHT: (C)1991,JPO&Japio
