titleOfInvention | System for continuously liberating vitamin a and other active components into potable water |
abstract | PURPOSE: To continuously and regularly liberate active components into water for household use by providing the system with a vessel which has an aperture and is impermeable to water and the active components and closing this aperture by a membrane which has an average hole diameter larger than a specific value and is permeable to the water and the active components. n CONSTITUTION: The system consists of the vessel 1 which has the aperture and is impermeable to the water and the active components. The aperture is closed by the membrane 3 which has the average hole diameter larger than 0.05 microns and is permeable to the water and the active components. The active components are adequately vitamin A or one kind among esters, such as, for example, palmitate. This system is used by immersing the same into the water where the water to be treated is placed, more particularly in a well or hole. The vitamin A may be continuously and regularly liberated into the potable water for at least three months. n COPYRIGHT: (C)1991,JPO |
