PURPOSE: To obtain a pigment dispersant consisting of a reaction product obtained by reacting a specific amine compound with acrylic copolymer and capable of providing a coating composition having excellent gloss. n CONSTITUTION: The aimed pigment dispersant consisting of a reaction product obtained by reacting (A) an amine compound containing one or more amino group and/or imino group in one molecule and having 60-3000 weight-average molecular weight and 50-2000mg KOH/g amine number with (B) an acrylic copolymer (provided that 1mol glycidyl group corresponds to 1mol hydroxyl group) having 2000-100000 weight average molecular weight and 5-200 hydroxyl number and having average 0.7-3.0 glycidyl groups, acetoacetic acid groups or cyclocarbonate groups in one molecule at a molar ratio of 1:1-1:40. n COPYRIGHT: (C)1991,JPO&Japio |
