abstract |
PURPOSE:To improve the workability and corrosion resistance of a coated metallic sheet, while the occurrence of cracks or pin holes is prevented by constituting the coated metallic sheet from the laminate of a metallic sheet, an adhesive polymer layer and the polyester film layer having the specified ratio of X ray diffraction intensity and the specified anisotropic index of the orientation in face of a crystal. CONSTITUTION:A coated metallic sheet is composed of the laminate of a metallic sheet and the layer of polyester film containing ethylene terephthalate unit as main material and according to necessity, the adhesive primer layer intervening between the metallic sheet and the polyester film layer. This polyester film is composed of the film layer having the ratio of X ray diffraction intensity defined by the formula RX=IA/IB in the range of 0.5-15 and the anisotropic index of the orientation in face of crystal of at most 30. In the formula, IA is the X ray diffraction intensity by the diffraction face of the face interval of about 0.34nm (CuKalpha-X ray diffraction angle is 24-28 deg.) parallel to the surface of the polyester film, and IB is the X ray diffraction intensity by the diffraction face of the face interval of about 0.39nm (CuKalpha-X ray diffraction angle is 21.5 deg.-24 deg.) parallel to the surface of the polyester film. |
